Certified Courses

Person in Charge
A three-hour Ohio Department of Health (ODH) certified course for food protection and disease prevention. Topics include duties and responsibilities, equipment maintenance and sanitation, employee illness and monitoring the flow of food. This course fulfills the one person per shift requirement outlined in the Ohio Uniform Food Safety Code.

ServSafe Managers Course®
ServSafe is a sixteen-hour nationally recognized food safety course for managers and persons in charge. The exams are accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) under Conference for Food Protection (CFP) standards. This comprehensive course can be customized by 334 Consulting Services to examine best practices for employee retention, menu planning and site-specific food equipment.

Food Defense

This customizable course identifies mitigation strategies for facilities to prevent intentional adulteration or contamination of food as well as prevention tactics. A virtual or in-person audit of the facility can be an addendum to the site-specific course.
